In Q2 2023, the top theme park apps in Portugal exhibited diverse performance metrics. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends for the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Disneyland® Paris saw weekly downloads fluctuate, peaking at just over 2.1K in early April and dipping to around 1K in mid-May before rising again to approximately 1.7K in early June. Weekly revenue for the app was modest, with occasional peaks at around $2, especially in late March and early May. The number of weekly active users for the app showed a slight decline from 3.8K at the start of the quarter to about 2.8K by the end of June.

For Parque Warner Madrid, weekly downloads varied significantly, reaching a high of about 1.1K in mid-April and then dropping to a low of 285 in mid-May. Active users followed a similar trend, with a peak of 1K in early April and a decline to around 359 in mid-May, before rebounding to approximately 569 by the end of June.

My Disney Experience experienced steady but lower weekly downloads, ranging from 59 to 174 throughout the quarter. Revenue for this app had notable spikes, reaching up to $756 in the first week of April. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 150 and 221 over the quarter.

Port Aventura had a low but steady increase in downloads, starting at 32 in late March and rising to 174 by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, growing from 33 at the beginning of the quarter to 201 by the end of June.

Lastly, Universal Studios Japan showed low download numbers, peaking at 99 in early June. The number of active users for this app was also low, peaking at 82 in early April but dropping significantly towards the end of the quarter.
